Treatment Modalities: Varian Linear Accelerator Equipment (TrueBeam, 23ix), ARIA Oncology Treatment System, VisionRT (SGRT), Bravos HDR Varian System, Phillips CT Simulator (CT Sim)

What You’ll Do:

• Administer prescribed radiation treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately
• Prepare patients for treatment and provide education and emotional support
• Verify treatment plans and ensure precise patient positioning
• Maintain accurate patient records using oncology information systems
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory standards

EMR: Epic (Experience with Epic is strongly preferred but not required)

Equipment Experience:

Required: Varian Radiation Equipment and Oncology Systems TrueBeam, 23ix, ARIA

Preferred: VisionRT (Surface Guided Radiation Therapy - SGRT)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• The clinician must have at least 2 years of experience in their discipline (RN, CST, Rad Tech, etc.) as well as 2 full years of recent experience in the specialty they are being submitted for (Med/Tele, OR, etc.)
• Prior travel experience is not required, but highly preferred.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• BLS
• ARRT

ABOUT THE FACILITY

Our Center is a 180-bed, acute care inpatient teaching facility in Cooperstown, New York. We offer 24-hour emergency and trauma care, comprehensive cancer and heart care, dialysis, and most medical and surgical specialties. The Clinic is located on the same campus as the medical center, and provides outpatient primary and specialty care.
