Length: 13 weeks

Schedule: They would need to be available for weekend work and some week day work. They would need to take on call. Combination of 8a-5pm M-F, 7 on 7 off, or 4-10's with call included on week days and weekends.

Additional Details:

• Review, verify, and dispense inpatient medication orders
• Perform clinical review of orders (renal dosing, interactions, allergies, appropriateness)
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds as assigned (ICU/acute care)
• Provide drug information to providers and nursing staff
• Support medication reconciliation and discharge counseling
• Prepare, verify, and oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding per USP <797>/<800>
• Respond to codes and clinical emergencies

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Hospital or inpatient experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Need to be (can be pharmd or BSPharm)

CERTIFICATIONS/STATE LICENSE:

• PharmD required or BS Pharm
• Active pharmacist license (USVI license or eligibility required)
