• Pyxis machines are located at both ends of the hall for medication access.
• CenTrack system is utilized to manage and silence alarms effectively, improving the care environment.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Nurses should be comfortable with telemetry, managing post-surgical recovery, and providing support for patients transitioning out of critical care.
• The unit's high census rates and diverse patient needs require strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Prior travel experience is not required, but highly preferred. Bassett provides only one day of orientation, so clinicians must be able to get up to speed quickly.

ABOUT THE FACILITY

Our Center is a 180-bed, acute care inpatient teaching facility in Cooperstown, New York. We offer 24-hour emergency and trauma care, comprehensive cancer and heart care, dialysis, and most medical and surgical specialties. The Clinic is located on the same campus as the medical center, and provides outpatient primary and specialty care.
