• Assessing patient therapy for appropriateness, incorporating age specific modifications, and clinical interventions to prevent adverse drug events.
• They will also conduct clinical research and other professional development programs.
• Provides oversight and participates in maintaining and storing adequate inventory of all medication required for the practice.
• Develop and update department and nursing policies.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 5+years extensive acute care clinical experience [required]
• Doctoral of Pharmacy (Pharm D) [required]
• Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology is [STRONGLY preferred].
• Board Certification Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) Certification is required is [STRONGLY preferred]
•  Retail experience [required]
• Specialty Pharmacy medication management

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 

•  BLS (AHA)
