Schedule: 12 hour shifts
- Every other Weekend rotation
- Holidays - Holliday is 1.5x ($153/hr) (Midnight to Midnight)
- Overtime rate will be $112/hr
- Overtime applicable once reached over 40 hours in 1 week
Call: May be placed on low census/on call
- On call (Pager Fee) BR will be $109/hr
- Call Back rate will be $112/hr with a 2 hour gratis.
Additional Details about the position
- PPD - General Pediatrics - 1:5, Advanced Care Pediatrics: 1:1-2
- The diagnosis of these patients varies from respiratory illness, diabetes, septicemia, cellulitis, hyperbilirubinemia, neglect/abuse, mental health, trauma, neurology, and general surgeries. The general surgeries may include ear/nose/throat, gastrointestinal, urological, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and trauma.
- Advanced Care Pediatrics: Patients 0-18 years of age requiring critical or intensive care services. The most common disease entities you may care for in our Advanced Care Pediatrics Unit include but are not limited to: acute and chronic respiratory insufficiency, circulatory failure, infectious diseases leading to major organ system dysfunction, endocrine and metabolic disorders, neurologic diseases, toxic ingestions/exposures, trauma, hematologic and oncologic disease.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 1.5 years general nursing experience (system requirement)
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- BLS
- PALS
