Additional Details about the position

 Phlebotomy & Specimen Collection

• Performs venipuncture and capillary blood collection for patients of all ages following established protocols
• Verifies patient identity and test orders prior to specimen collection
• Properly labels, processes, and prepares specimens for in-house testing or external laboratory transport
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions and responds appropriately
• Maintains specimen integrity and chain of custody in accordance with laboratory standards
• Performs CLIA waived labs and appropriate related paperwork.

Laboratory Support Duties

• Assists with routine laboratory testing as assigned and within scope of training
• Prepares laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment for daily operations
• Performs basic quality control checks and documents results as required
• Maintains cleanliness, organization, and infection control standards within the laboratory
• Assists with inventory tracking, stocking, and expiration date monitoring

Radiologic / X-Ray Support Duties

• Performs limited diagnostic x-ray procedures as authorized by certification and facility protocols
• Prepares patients for imaging procedures and explains processes in a clear, respectful manner
• Positions patients correctly to obtain quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure
• Operates radiologic equipment in compliance with radiation safety standards and facility policy

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT 

•  MT or Any State License
