General Information:

• 25 total beds
• Equipment Used: 160-Slice CT Scanner
• 12-18 patients seen per night

Patient Preparation and Screening

• Verify identity
• Review medical history
• Screen and prepare
• Explain the procedure

Contrast Administration (When Ordered)

• Check lab values
• Start IV access

Positioning and Scanning

• Position correctly
• Use laser lights
• Set parameters

Post-Processing and Quality Control

Key Safety Standards

Safety Protocols: Adhere to OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standards, especially for sharps handling.

Confidentiality: Maintain patient privacy (HIPAA compliance).

Personal Hygiene: Maintain short, natural nails (no polish/false nails) and clean attire.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 3 Years relevant experience required
• 5 Years relevant experience preferred  

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 

• BLS
• ARRT (R) & (CT)

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT
