Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday

Additional Details about the position

• 5-7 ppd
• Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health
• Applying fluoride treatments and taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases

REQUIRMENTS:

• Two (2) years of clinical and/or public health education experience.
• Successfully complete a regional or state clinical board examination.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit's policies and procedures.
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Successfully complete the written National Board Dental Hygiene Examination.
