Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, 40 hour per week 

Additional Details about the position

• Provide physical therapy treatment for patients of all ages within state licensure scope
• Develop, implement, and coordinate patient plans of care with medical providers
• Instruct, demonstrate, and monitor therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and home programs
• Document patient care, progress, billing, follow-ups, and recommendations in a timely manner
• Collaborate with clinic medical providers, respond to consults, and provide clinical guidance or training as requested
• Assist with mobility device ordering, medical emergencies, and other clinic support duties within training scope
• Maintain equipment, clinic safety standards, and patient confidentiality (HIPAA)
• Participate in quality assurance, staff meetings, required training, and professional development
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to the mission of RNSB

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Doctor of Physical Therapy or master's degree in physical therapy from a physical therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
• Two years of experience in outpatient and/or inpatient physical therapy treatment. At least one year must have been in an outpatient environment. Years of experience may be waived for a doctorate degree.
• Prior IHS exp is a plus!

ABOUT THE FACILITY

Our Health Center is a family-practice outpatient clinic with Emergency Medical Services and many ancillary programs. We are located in a rural and isolated area of western New Mexico, 45 miles east of Zuni PHS and 65 miles southeast of Gallup Indian Medical Center. We are a tribal 638 clinic serving the Ramah Navajo Band of Indians who number approximately 4,000 plus other neighboring individuals in this underserved area.
