Additional Details about the position

PT will be required to work acute care and swing with the occasional day working SNF each week. 6-8 patients per day (20% Acute + 80% Swing) - 2 - 3 SNF patients per week.

Inpatient

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans by applying diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests.
• Treats injuries, manage chronic conditions, prevent future problems, improve physical function and educate patients to maximize and/or maintain their maximum level of independence.
• Records and reports to the physician the patient’s reaction to treatment and/or any changes in the patient’s condition as required/needed.
• Educates patients and their families in the use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices (canes, walkers, wheelchairs, etc.) and other necessary therapeutic equipment/devices.
• Attends rehabilitation center staff meetings and in-service presentations.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year as a PT with Acute Care Experience

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 

• CPR
• BLS

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT 

• CA License
