- A Plus for this position is Dry Needling, Orthopedics and Nuero Exp
REQUIREMENTS
- Ensure regular and punctual attendance with reliable job performance.
- Deliver professional care in assessment, planning, treatment, patient education, and discharge planning for inpatient and outpatient cases.
- Participate in educational programs and clinical research efforts.
- Plan and implement therapy for general and surgical patients, teaching exercises to prevent or manage deformities.
- Conduct tests and measurements to develop and adjust treatment plans.
- Record patient progress and update protocols as needed.
- Provide consultation to physicians and healthcare professionals with professionalism and ethical conduct.
- Attend medical staff rounds and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Supervise supportive staff and therapy students as required.
- Stay current in the field through continuing education and professional networking.
- Develop staff through in-service training programs.
- Ensure compliance with legal and certification requirements.
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited U.S. program (Master’s or Doctoral preferred).
- Three years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- AZ License
- OR Compact License
