Additional Details about the position

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
• Implement strategies to enhance fine motor skills, coordination, cognition, and sensory processing
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and home exercise programs
• Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with facility and state guidelines
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control and regulatory standards
• Adapt quickly to different clinical settings and EMR systems

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience 
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in pediatrics is a plus
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (OTD or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy)

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 

• BLS
• CPR
• NBCOT certification

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT 

• ND
• Current, active Occupational Therapist license in the state of North Dakota (or ability to obtain)
