Laboratory/Specialty Equipment Used:
- Urinalysis analyzer AX-4030 and Iris DxU 480.
Key Responsibilities:

Blood Bank: Proficiency in ABO typing, antibody screening, and compatibility testing using both manual and automated methods.

Microbiology: Experience with Abbott ID Now analyzers for COVID-19, Strep, Influenza, and RSV testing. Experience with Phadia 250 for allergy and autoimmune disease testing.

Hematology: Operation of Sysmex XN 550 and XN350 analyzers for hematological testing.

Coagulation: Operation of the ACL TOP 350 for coagulation testing.

Chemistry: Experience with Beckman AU480 and Access2 analyzers for chemistry testing.
REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of Blood Bank, Microbiology, Hematology, Coagulation, and Chemistry disciplines.
- Ability to operate laboratory equipment, including manual and automated methods.
- Must be a reliable, self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
- Phlebotomy experience is not required but may be a plus.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid NY State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license required.
