Schedule: Monday-Friday  8:00 AM-4:00 PM EST, Weekends required

Additional Details about the position

•  An interventional radiology technologist assists interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that utilize specialized instruments to treat conditions within the body. They are responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. Required Vaccines: Varicella, TDAP, MMR, HEP B

Miscellaneous/Additional Requirements: Prefers to have someone who knows Computed Tomography

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

•  Minimum 1 year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty, and stenting.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS 

•  Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH. (Manager willing to accept out-of-state license if candidate is willing to obtain NY license after offer)
• BLS certification issued by AHA
• Advanced-Level Certification (only need 1) from ARRT to include one of the following:
• -ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology.
• -ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology.
• -ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology
