Additional Details:

• Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, and managing telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications, assist with procedures, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Med-Surg Tele RN at Bassett Healthcare Network, provides care for general medical/surgical patients while closely monitoring cardiac rhythms via telemetry, requiring strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and attention to patient vitals/arrhythmias.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with Epic is strongly preferred but not required
• Must be skilled to handle the full scope of patient care without support
• Able to work independently and provide care across a variety of units. Nurses in these units should have a strong foundation in med/surg nursing, be skilled in telemetry monitoring, and be adept at managing a diverse patient population.
