Scanners: Philips 3T and 1.5T (5.7 software)

PACS: Change Healthcare Radiology Solutions (McKesson)

RIS: Epic (Experience with Epic is strongly preferred but not required. This will not be covered in orientation.)

REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:

• The clinician must have at least 2 years of experience in their discipline (RN, CST, MRI Tech, etc.) as well as 2 full years of recent experience in the specialty they are being submitted for (Med/Tele, OR, etc.)

• Prior travel experience is not required, but highly preferred. Bassett provides only one day of orientation, so clinicians must be able to get up to speed quickly.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Required: ARRT (MR) and BLS

ARRT (R) only: Not accepted — must hold MRI certification

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

• NY does not require state license

ABOUT THE FACILITY

Our Center is a 180-bed, acute care inpatient teaching facility in Cooperstown, New York. We offer 24-hour emergency and trauma care, comprehensive cancer and heart care, dialysis, and most medical and surgical specialties. The Clinic is located on the same campus as the medical center, and provides outpatient primary and specialty care.
