Additional Details about the position
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for patients of all ages.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient needs.
- Provide speech therapy interventions, including exercises to improve speech, language, and swallowing function.
- Work with patients to improve communication skills, social interaction, and cognitive-communication abilities.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment goals and strategies for continued progress.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Stay current with speech therapy practices, techniques, and certifications to provide the best care possible.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Two years of experience in speech therapy, with experience across the life span. New graduates welcome.
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
