Pay Rate: $2,400.00 - $2,600.00 gross per week

7:30am-5:30pm ; 4x10 schedule

Duties:

• Manage daily schedules, systems, and patient requests to support efficient clinic operations.
• Collect and document medical and dental histories, vital signs, and perform oral exams, charting, and radiographs.
• Provide preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services under dentist direction, including prophylaxis, periodontal care, fluoride, sealants, anesthetics, desensitizing agents, impressions, and temporary restorations.
• Assist with clinical procedures, including chairside support, instrument sterilization, operative field isolation, post-operative care, and routine equipment maintenance.
• Maintain dental supplies, equipment, and infection control standards.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and prescribed medications as directed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, participate in committees and outreach.
• Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in addressing patient needs beyond assigned duties to ensure a complete, compassionate care experience.

Patient Volume: 10-12 ppd

Requirements:

• Dental Hygiene 2 years minimum preferred will look at candidate with a year+
• Local anesthesia not required but is a plus!

Certifications:

• BLS

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

• Maine RDH license (Will wait for license since start date is far out)
