Additional Details about the position
- Provides physical therapy treatment under the direction of the Director of Physical Therapy Services while adhering to established standards of practice
- Conducts comprehensive assessments and reassessments for all patient populations, evaluating treatment effectiveness and functional outcomes
- Identifies and addresses patient pain or limitations, communicating with providers as needed for appropriate intervention
- Ensures safe, high-quality patient care by properly using equipment, maintaining a clean environment, and minimizing risk of errors
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Develops and delivers patient/family education based on identified learning needs and evaluates effectiveness of teaching
- Demonstrates knowledge and proper application of physical therapy modalities
- Treats patients and families with respect and dignity, addressing
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (varies by assignment)
- Basic computer knowledge
- AA degree from a school or college approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
LICENSURE REQUIREMENT
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of North Dakota. (or the ability to get one)
- ND is a compact state
