Additional Details about the position

• PPD 6-10
• Advise on or administer and perform educational and therapeutic preventive periodontal services in the medical clinic. Through personal contact with patients and staff.
• Routine dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling.
• Oral health Education and community outreach Educate and instruct patients.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience as an RDH

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Education/Training. Completion of a course of study in Dental Hygiene accredited by the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) as evidenced by an Associate’s degree or higher in Dental Hygiene.
• Must have successfully completed an educational program that meets or exceeds the standards described in that regulation and is accredited by an organization recognized by the Department of Education and be certified as radiographers in their field. Accredited dental hygiene programs contain curriculum addressing radiologic procedures meets the requirement for certification as dental radiographers.

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT

• Any State License

Our Health Center provides the usual primary services to the Indian population of Canadian County and part of Oklahoma County. The facility is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a certified Primary Care Medical Home.
