Additional Details about the position

• 5-7 ppd
• Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health
• Applying fluoride treatments and taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Two (2) years of clinical and/or public health education experience
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit's policies and procedures
