Additional Details about the position

• 21-bed acuity adaptable unit serving medical/surgical and progressive care patients.
• The scope of service includes providing post-operative surgical care for patients who have undergone orthopedic joint replacements, abdominal surgery, genitourinary surgery, as well as medical management for diabetic, cardiac, gastrointestinal, trauma, neurological, and respiratory patients requiring admission.
• Patients may be monitored by telemetry. Progressive care patients need close monitoring and frequent assessment, but who aren't unstable enough to require ICU care. Delivery of age specific, direct patient care.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Experience: 1-2 years
• Must be able to function in a high-capacity department.
• Associate Degree (or certification equivalent).
