Additional Details about the position

• Knowledge of nursing, medications, and treatment planning.
• Knowledge of patient’s rights regarding medical treatment.
• Knowledge of current psychopharmacology.
• Skill in the use of the basic instruments and equipment of the nursing profession.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university degree in nursing.
• Preferred experience working with psychiatric inpatient treatment programs.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• CPI Certification
• Min 2 year experience in Geriatric Psych Nursing

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT

• RN Montana

ABOUT THE FACILITY

This facility provides inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults with serious mental illness. Services provided include: evaluation and assessment, medication management, individual and group therapy, psycho-educational programs, rehabilitation and vocational services, chemical dependency treatment, and peer support. This location is the only public psychiatric hospital in Montana and serves people admitted from communities across the state.
