Integrated Care Mental Health Therapist - The Integrated Care Therapist will provide mental health assessment, crisis intervention, safety planning, brief therapy (up to three months), care coordination, and other services as part of the Mental Health staff who are integrated with the primary care teams.

 

Pay Rate: $2,200.00 - $2,500.00 gross per week

Number of Positions: 1

Start Date: Ideal candidates can start as early as April 8, 2024 Will take candidates who can start before or after this date.

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Schedule: 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, 40 Hours a Week

License: Any State License



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires a Master’s degree in a behavioral health science field from an accredited university that meets the standards for LPC or LCSW.
  • Candidates not already licensed must actively hold CSWA status and maintain this status while working toward licensure.
  • Candidates working toward Oregon licensure must provide proof of supervision and be able to obtain licensure within 24 months of the hire date.
  • Demonstrated work/internship experience as a Mental Health Counselor to include experience with suicide risk assessment, crisis intervention, and safety planning.
  • Minimum of five (5) years active ongoing recovery if recovering from chemical dependency or other addictions.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with primary care medical providers, while delivering behavioral health treatment.
  • Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to multi-task while accurately completing activities related to the position.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to speak before groups.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain insurance requirements to operate General Services Administration vehicles.
  • Must submit to and pass a reference and criminal background check.
  • Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
  • Must submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience in delivering behavioral health services in Tribal communities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with integrated team-based models of care.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are licensed as a License Professional
  • Counselor (LPC or LMFT), or a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW.)
