Additional Details about the position

• Provide assistance and support to clients in maintaining a therapeutic environment.
• Performs nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation for adult clients in the facility.
• Assigning work and providing direction and training to subordinate nursing personnel.
• Additionally, shift differential may available, and one meal is provided per shift.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year travel experience
• At least 2 years of working in mental health setting
• Minimum 2 years in geriatric psych nursing
• Skilled in De-Escalation 

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• BLS
• CPI preferred

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT

• RN Montana or compact

ABOUT THE FACILITY

This facility provides inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults with serious mental illness. Services provided include: evaluation and assessment, medication management, individual and group therapy, psycho-educational programs, rehabilitation and vocational services, chemical dependency treatment, and peer support. This location is the only public psychiatric hospital in Montana and serves people admitted from communities across the state.
