Additional Details about the position

• The OR Nurse Manager works with the Surgical Services leadership team and hospital nursing supervisor to coordinate departmental activities over a 24-hour period and reports to the Director of Surgical Services. 
• They are responsible and accountable for coordinating and supervising the intraoperative nursing care provided to patients having operative or other invasive procedures.
• The role requires a working knowledge of the medical/legal and accreditation aspects of nursing and includes direct supervision of RNs, LPN, Scrub Technologists, Perioperative Aides, CNAs, and unit clerks.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of operating room or ambulatory surgery center experience.
• ION robot experience.
• Required: robotics, ortho, urology, general surgery, GYN, neuro, ERCP and vascular.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• CNOR
