Additional Details about the position

• 12-18 patients seen per night
• Head-to-Toe Assessments: Conducting comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments every shift, tracking vital signs, and monitoring lab results.
• Medication Administration: Safely administering oral, intramuscular (IM), subcutaneous, and intravenous (IV) medications (including continuous IV drips, antibiotics, and pain management).
• IV Therapy & Phlebotomy: Starting peripheral IV lines, maintaining central/midline lines, drawing lab blood work, and managing infusion pumps.
• Wound & Skin Care: Performing sterile or clean dressing changes for surgical incisions, pressure injuries (bedsores), and traumatic wounds.
• Genitourinary & Gastrointestinal Care: Inserting, maintaining, and discontinuing indwelling urinary (Foley) catheters, managing nasogastric (NG) tubes, and monitoring ostomies or GI bleeds.
• Respiratory Management: Administering oxygen therapy, managing tracheostomy care, suctioning airways, and monitoring patients with COPD or pneumonia flares.  

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 2 Years relevant experience required
• 4 Years relevant experience preferred    

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 

• BLS
• ACLS

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT 

• ME or any State Compact License
