Pay Rate: $2,600-$2,800 gross per weekly

Additional Information:

• Ensure that the patient receives the correct chemotherapy drug(s), dose, and instructions as prescribed by the oncologist.
• Monitor patient compliance with oral chemotherapy regimens and assess barriers to adherence (e.g., side effects, confusion about dosing schedules).
• Coordinate with pharmacists to ensure proper medication supply and resolve any drug-related issues.
• Assess and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects related to oral chemotherapy, including nausea, fatigue, gastrointestinal issues, and hematologic changes.
• Perform regular follow-up calls or visits to track the patient's response to treatment and make adjustments as needed in consultation with the healthcare team.
• Document all assessments, interactions, and interventions in patient medical records.

REQUIREMENTS/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is preferred or required within 6 months of employment.
• Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate preferred or required to obtain within 3 months of employment.
• BLS
