Pay Rate: $2,400.00 - $2,550.00 gross per week

Holiday Coverage: Travelers must work every other holiday, similar to full-time staff (holiday requests are approved based on unit needs)

Additional Details:

Essential in supporting patient care due to the number of new graduate RNs.

Unit Specifics:

• 4 Labor/Delivery/Recovery (LDR) rooms, each with a private bath, shower, and spa tub
• 8 postpartum rooms with refrigerators and fold-out couches o Operating rooms for Caesarean births o A special care nursery
• Average monthly deliveries 80-90 (fluctuates by month)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must have full-scope LDRP experience, including experience across labor & delivery, postpartum, antepartum.
• Please make sure this is clearly notated on their resume.
• Candidates may also help with NICU level newborns to help with stabilization for up to 12 hours while they await the transport team.
• Please verify if your talent has experience with this.

Consideration: Candidates with less than 3 years may be accepted if they have prior travel experience or have worked in a specialized OB setting.

•  Prior travel experience is not required, but highly preferred. Bassett provides only one day of orientation, so clinicians must be able to get up to speed quickly.

• BLS
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• AWHONN/Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification)
• ACLS - Optional

Our Center is a 180-bed, acute care inpatient teaching facility in Cooperstown, New York. We offer 24-hour emergency and trauma care, comprehensive cancer and heart care, dialysis, and most medical and surgical specialties. The Clinic is located on the same campus as the medical center, and provides outpatient primary and specialty care.
