Rates are determined by Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 Clinicians
Level 1-$30-40/hr
Level 2-$40-55/hr
Level 3- $55-$68/hr

Travel: Client covers all expenses, lodging, flights(rental car is not needed as clinic is walking distance from lodging)
Start Date: 09/29/2025
Length: 13 Weeks w/ chance to extend
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed:
- Experience providing clinical services to Youth, Children, people with substance abuse disorders or serious mental illness.
- IHS experience is a plus
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Clinician I Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy or related field
- Ability to achieve licensure in the State of Alaska as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within two years of hire.
- Experience working in a behavioral health clinic or similar setting through employment or practicum.
- Proof of valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Clinician I Preferred Education & Experience
- Experience providing clinical services to 1 or more priority populations including children, youth, people with substance use disorders, or serious mental illness.
Clinician II Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- Current licensure in the State of Alaska as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT; or ability to transfer out of state license within 6 months of hire.
- 2 years post-graduate experience in a behavioral health setting.
Clinician II Preferred Education & Experience
- Experience providing clinical services to 1 or more priority populations including children, youth, people with substance use disorders, or serious mental illness.
- Experience in community clinic preferred and a strong commitment to multi-disciplinary teamwork
- Experience working in a Tribal healthcare setting and with American Indian and Alaska Native people.
Clinician III Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- Current licensure in the State of Alaska as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT; or ability to transfer out of state license within 6 months of hire
- 5+ years experience as a licensed mental health clinician
Clinician III Preferred Education & Experience
- Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling or other relevant field.
- 8 years experience as a mental health clinician
- Supervisory credential in the state of Alaska or ability to achieve within 6 months of hire.
- Experience providing clinical services to 1 or more priority populations including children, youth, people with substance use disorders, or serious mental illness.
- Experience in a community clinic preferred and a strong commitment to multi-disciplinary teamwork
- Experience working in a Tribal healthcare setting and with American Indian and Alaska Native people.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- Any state license, Island in Alaska
ABOUT THE FACILITY
We provide acute and chronic medical, dental, pharmacy, optometry, and behavioral health services—offering specialized women’s health and pediatrics care. In addition, we offer essential preventive services such as cancer screening, TB screening, diabetes screening, prenatal care, and health education. Since assuming the health care services, the Clinic has seen many positive changes, including patient visit increase, construction of a new freestanding, ambulatory health facility (April 2000), a new behavioral health facility (July 2018) increased funding through grant resources and expanded services, including a diabetes program, optometry, and lab services.
