EMR: Epic - Experience with Epic is strongly preferred but not required. Workstations on wheels available for point-of-service documentation. 

Schedule: 07:00-15:00 ; Day shift, Monday-Friday

• 8 hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch (per New York State labor law).
• Occasionally scheduled Saturday coverage.

Additional Details:

• 15 patient slots per 8-hour day (30 minutes each) 1 hr slots allotted for new patient evaluations.
• Primarily outpatient physical therapy, with occasional inpatient coverage for acute care and swing bed (rehab) settings.

General Outpatient:

• Pre- or post-operative orthopedic conditions (e.g., joint replacements, rotator cuff injuries, acute orthopedic injuries).
• Chronic conditions (e.g., arthritis, chronic pain, balance issues).
• Neurological conditions (e.g., CVA, TBI, Parkinson’s Disease).
• Sports-related injuries.

Inpatient (Occasional):

• Acute care and swing bed rehabilitation cases.

Treatment Modalities:

• Ultrasound, electrical stimulation, Saunder’s mechanical traction, paraffin therapy.
• Equipment includes treadmills, stationary bikes, and upper body ergometers (UBE).

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Outpatient physical therapy experience.
• Prior travel experience is not required, but highly preferred.

ABOUT THE FACILITY

Our Hospital is designated as a Critical Access Hospital licensed for 23 acute care medical/surgical beds, including extended care "swing" beds for patients needing additional time and therapy in order to recover from illness or surgery.
