• Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for provision of competent care based on established standards
• Level II Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Must have stepdown experience/PCU experience 
• High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience required
• Telemetry Experience Required
• Two (2) Years Experience
• Needs experience in Q1 neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar drains, sub-dural drains, 3%NS and cardene drips, arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coil/clips, DBS Insertion (Deep Brain Stimulator), VP shunts, seizures.
• MUST HAVE STEPDOWN EXPERIENCE/PCU EXPERIENCE

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• BLS
• ACLS

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT

• New York RN License
