Additional Details about the position

• PPD: 10-12 on days with all kids, 4-5 on days with adults, some infants
• Obtains and records medical and dental histories.
• Examines teeth and periodontium for abnormalities of the mouth.
• Provides oral hygiene instruction, tooth brushing instruction, flossing instruction and other dental aides as needed.
• Coordinates and presents dental education at North Slope Borough Schools, Career Fairs, and Health Fairs and for other community organizations or events as might be appropriate.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS:

• 3 - 4 years experience preferred

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• BLS
• CPR
• Nitrous Oxide preferred, Local Anesthetic also preferred

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT

• AK preferred or Any State License
